Used to really enjoy this place...waited for about 10 minutes at the hostess station as there was no hostess. Several servers saw us, but we were not acknowledged by anyone. As we were about to leave, we were finally greeted. Our server (I am sorry to say that I do not remember her name) was very attentive, offering menu options and mutiple drink refills. My wife and I ordered one of our favorites, the deep dish meats pizza. The pizza was burnt on the top and edges while somehow almost not done inside. I usually love to take home the leftovers for breakfast the next day. I tried it, but it was even worse as a leftover. I also had a beer, an Abide, I believe, at $8.50!!! Let's get real, $8.50! I have noticed that A & J's seem to always have an opening for an Operations Manager; with over 20 years of restaurant management experience myself, I strongly encourage them to make informed, educated decisions when hiring the next Ops Mgr, as I am reasonably certain that this one's time is limited. There are not enough non-franchise restaurants in Newnan, so please make the changes necessary to sustain the business. We really need a private concept like A&J's, just want it to be well operated and managed.
