First I want to say Dr. Paas is a fantastic doctor, and I have been seeing her for about a year. But her billing staff needs a lot of work. I had a question with my bill and it took me 3 months of phone tag with the billing specialist to finally get some answers about my bill. I had a procedure done in-office and Dr. Paas asked if I wanted to wait while they pre-ran my insurance for the cost. I said no problem, I waited 30 minutes when Dr. Paas came back and told me that the cost to me would be $30. When I checked out at the front desk, I asked if this would be all I would owe, because they pre-ran my insurance and I was assured that it would be. A month later I get a bill for almost $200. I have great insurance and rarely I have to pay out of pocket. When I finally got a hold of the billing they said that it was just a quote and the $30 was applied to my bill. How do you "quote" $30 and the bill end up being over $200? Also, why make me wait half and hour if it wasn't even close to what I would need to pay. I have never had this problem at any doctor I have ever been too. Either they charge outrageous rates or they aren't billing correctly. I will not be going back.
