I visited here in May of 2018. It was a clean Park, well organized, with nice trails. It cost $8 for myself and my one year old to enter. The guide gave us a five minute introduction to the history and sites of the park. Then we walked outside to check out the Mounds and fishtrap. We also took the nature trail around one side of the park. The trails were pleasant and well lit. The nature trail was shaded most of the way. My son really loved seeing Turtles laying on the logs in the water of the river. There was ample parking and plenty of spaces open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday. After our walk, we ate lunch at the picnic tables next to the parking lot. It was a large green space with plenty of trees for shade. My son loved running around and playing with sticks and leaves. It was wonderful to spend all morning out in nature. We spent 4 hours total. This is an amazing historical site, worth checking out if you are passing by or live in the area.
