We have stayed here before and loved it. The condo that we stay in is amazing. However, this time my 4 year old nephew got chemical burns on his legs from too much chlorine in the pool on our first morning there. My husband was in the pool with him the whole time and he made a comment that when he opened his eyes under water it burned. But we didn't realize it was as bad as it was. When the poor little guy got out and tried to shower he was screaming because it hurt him so bad. And my husband's black shorts ended up bleached put and turned to a redish pink color. This ruined our nephews trip because he cpuld not get back in the pool the rest of the trip which is torture for a 4 year old who has been asking to go to the beach for 6 months. My sister in law did speak to a man who was in charge of the grounds. He had the pool company recheck the chlorine levels the next morning and they were too high and the pool had to be shut down for part of the day because of this. If it was too high the next day when there had not been chlorine added imagine what it was like the day of the incident. We really loved this resort in the past but that has made us afraid to go back.
