Twisted Oar

Today my family went to Twisted Oar for our first time. We came for a late lunch. When we went to check in at the hostess stand. The hostess first told us that is was a 45 minute wait, even though there were a lot of empty tables. Instead of taking our name to put on the list she says, wait just a minute I need to go clean tables. As she went to clean tables she was nasty with another hostess and told her just to stand there at the stand. After about 15 minutes of cleaning off tables she came back to us and sat us at table. Our waitress was pretty friendly but the service was very slow. The food came out after quit a long wait. I odered a half pound of shrimp that were supposed to be hot, but they came out ice cold, the French fries we had were cold, I asked for ranch and bbq sauce for my sandwich and had to wait 10 minutes for it. Another person asked 2 different people for some tartar sauce and never received it until the waitress finally came back. It took us about 10 minutes to get our shrimp heated back up. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was burnt. It cost $100 tab for this type of service and food. Overall the service was very slow, and the food was so so. Not sure that I would go back after the way it went for us today. I was hoping for a lot more with a 4.3 rating.
