I thought this was a great place. The Vet was very nice and I spent over $1000 dollars within the past 6 months at this place from cats to dogs. The problem occurred when one of my animals needed tests. They were not up front with the prices until being at the register. Expecting it to be around 100 - 150 it was over double that. The issue became that I didn't have the amount of money they required at the time so we agreed to pay the remaining 25% of it when we had the funds. About 3 weeks later, not sure who the lady was, but she called being very rude and threatened to call the sheriff. I tried to explain that I would pay the next day. She insisted I give a time that I was going to call and I told her I was unsure because I was in meetings all day. She kept insisting that if i didn't pay she would call the Sheriff and that they were a place of business that didn't extend credit! I understand they need their money and I had every intention to pay them. The behavior completely threw me off and I did not expect this type of unprofessional attitude coming from this place. What kind of business is this? This kind of behavior is unheard of. Not to mention I have two different tests on animals that I never received. ididn't threaten to call the "Sheriff" for this. I would also think they would call and tell you the test results when they received them. Not a good business practice or a way to treat customers. The lady didn't even care when I said I would not come back to the facility. The Veterinarian was great but he also might have been behind the phone call. I don't recommend.
In response to the reply from the business. My review is not intended to be angry but to only provide an honest review of my experience. This review and their response only show my initial posts truth. Claiming that they didn't have a contact number is not true since there was no problem making contact with me for payment. It seems the time frame for them is misunderstood. I did receive calls and yes I did say that I forgot which is the truth. They seemed only interested in payment when I received calls from them. I just assumed that since they didn't come forth with test results that they were not back from the lab yet. Things happen that put some things out of mind. This is the only time I was helped financially with payment because it was unexpected. They have never assisted me financially as they claim below. I am glad there was a response as it shows the lack of integrity and honesty. Every Vet I have dealt with in the last 20 years has always called with test results. People pay a lot of money to take care of their pets and I am not complaining about the pet care however the administrative practice at this facility is deserving of a single star. If they used a collection agency I am not aware of it because the person who called me on several occasions claimed to be St.Francis animal hospital. They apparently will call the sheriff for payment and do not care if you return to their facility. Wow!
