My daughter seen at this location on 4/25/2018. This location is listed online by my insurance provider, as an “in network” Urgent Care provider. After arriving at this location, my daughter was informed that she needed to pay $150.00. I told her to call me if anyone tried to collect money from her because we do not have a co-pay for Urgent Care. Our plan pays 100% and the deductible is waved. My daughter was instructed by the receptionist to call the front desk and she would discuss my coverage and payment. I explained to the front desk that my policy has always covered “in-network” Urgent Care at 100%. She said that we were “In-Network” but that my policy did not cover Urgent Care?! She was rather sassy with me and said that if we didn’t want to be seen that we could go somewhere else. I hung up with her, logged into my network provider, and low and behold what do I see but my explanation of benefits saying that my in-network Urgent Care benefit covers Urgent Care visits to In-Network facilities at 100% and the deductible is waved. When can I be expecting my $150.00 back? How on earth can this place be called Smart Care.
And as far as medical treatment was concerned, she was whisked in and out in about 5 minutes and told if her symptoms didn't improve to go to the hospital. Meanwhile she is in severe pain and peeing blood. This place is awful! Do not go there.
