Although during the day Rigdon Park looks like a family oriented sports complex for our up and coming junior athletes but at night , the invitingly clean and wholesome looking sports complex changes .
I'll be gentle as I can but I will not sugar coat it considering I grew up playing sports there. The park is not open after dark but I may be wrong , it may close around 11:00 pm.
Either way at night Rigdon Park is not a friendly place , drugs , alcohol and other things of that nature are common.There's also a gang type of mentality with a certain element in that area which could possibly get you hurt , robbed , raped or even car jacked..That's about were I need to end my assessment of what used to be a nice place to meet , make friends and play sports.
Although these types of behavior surely don't happen on a daily basis if you frequent this park your odds will get better at being either a witness or involved in one.
