Publix Super Market at Lost Mountain Crossings

I had a Black Forrest Cake made for my birthday and it was the worst cake I have ever got from Publix. I get this cake every year from Publix and this was absolutely awful. Have never ordered it from this store at Lost Mountain on corner of Mars Hill and Dallas Hwy. before and I never will again. It did not even look very appetizing. My mother in law bought it and if I would have saw it I never would took it home. The cherries on it looked old like they had been sitting out for days they were discolored. The cake was ok but not the freshest and the whipped cream was old and waxy tasting. I would have taken back but I did not want to hurt my mother in laws feelings. The fact that they let this cake leave the bakery looking like it did says what kind of staff they have in this store. I will never buy from here again. This bakery should be ashamed to give this to a customer especially when they special ordered it. I am very disappointed in Publix. Maybe they just do not care anymore since they have gotten bigger. It is a shame.
