This overlook, well built and with ample seating, provides a for lovely view of the Chattahoochee down below. Some parts of the greater metropolitan area rise above the tree line, but this is to be expected being so close to Atlanta. On this trip I viewed an Otter, Geese, Ducks and Heron, in winter no less! Bring binoculars!! Access to the overlook via the trail is moderate to difficult depending upon weather.
