We always stay at this hotel when we come to Saint Marys GA. I've been in a few others in Jacksonville as well. They are all very clean and orderly. The prices are on the lower side of other hotels that rank in its class. The staff has always been good and the rooms clean and neat. They have a nice full breakfast with grits sausage eggs and more. If you are use to places like the Hilton or other high end Hotels this may not do it for you but you are going to pay two or three times as much at those places. For the price you pay it's a very nice place to stay.

Clean .Comfortable. Affordable .Convenient to historic locations and restaurants. Enjoyed our six night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful with one exception. The only other negative aspect was that we had to go back to the desk from our third floor room on 4 nights out of six when the key card was not activated to unlock the room. We had the breakfast on 4 of the 6 mornings. As we were leaving, after breakfast had ended, the last morning( after not having breakfast), I went to the breakfast area and took 4 packs of peanut butter and 4 packs of jelly .As I was placing them in my bag, a tall thin blonde woman I had seen servicing the breakfast area earlier in the week and sitting behind the desk on one occasion walked up behind me. I knew an employee was likely to be around since a cleaning rag was on a counter there so I was not being stealthy .She made a loud HARRUMPH noise in a tone indicating she wanted me to realize she was thinking, "Well, I never!! The nerve of you taking these items!" She was also right on my heels....wanting me to see her .I looked at her and walked on out. What I should have said is, "Look....I did not eat this breakfast today so I really think 4 packs of peanut butter and jelly so that I can make a sandwich (on bread that I did NOT obtain there) on our long drive home should be acceptable!" As I have been thinking about this woman, I remember that when I thanked her for something the first time I saw her earlier in the week and then said, "Have a good day," she gave me a wide-eyed stare and muttered "Ha!" Her demeanor definitely was NOT what I saw in all of the other hotel employees .
