Mediterranea Restaurant & Bakery

A favorite for me and my kids to grab a treat from the bakery and eat on the roof. Also great for a nice date with my wife in the evenings. I've grabbed coffee and baked goods for a couple meetings with my team too. It's a great neighborhood spot. Everything is gluten free (which I value b/c I can't eat wheat), but you wouldn't know it otherwise. The food is delicious.

This is a great dining choice if you have special dietary needs of food allergies. One of my party had a gluten allergy so that's how I ended up at Mediterranea. I thought the prices were high, service was average and the food medicocre at best. I ordered the duck and it was very greasy, gamey and not good in general. However others at my table ordered the steak and loved it. The sides and appetizers were good as well. I won't be back, but I'm not who this eatery for. This is a good option for those who have very specific dietary needs who want to dine without worrying what's in the food. I do not recommend bringing kids here because there isn't much they'd want to eat and they don't carry any brand name sodas or other drinks.
