I was treated like an alien when I walked into this place. There was a whole bar of people that went silent and starred at me, as I waited to be acknowledged and offered a seat. Awkwardly, I sat myself after a few moments of this.
A waitress then came up and asked me "What do you want?" I told her that a menu would be great. "Huh? A what?"... Confused, she walked away and got me a menu. She stood over my shoulder and watched me as I opened it up. "This is African food, you know..." she said. I told her that yes, I knew that, and that is why I came here....
Eventually, I got food and it was okay, but my treatment here was extremely bizarre and uncomfortable. Apparently entering a restaurant at lunch time and wanting to get lunch is somehow confusing or strange to them.
