I just came to the pharmacy to pick up my son's prescription. He is sick with strep throat. I set my basket of maybe 10 items on the counter and the lady ringing me up says: "We only ring up 5 items or less." So, basically refusing to ring my other items up, while she see's my sick child sitting in their waiting chairs waiting on me. Keep in mind there wasn't anyone in line behind me. It was just me. I'm highly disappointed that there was no hospitality or help. Stunned! This has been my favorite Kroger since we've moved to Snellville two years ago... for the first time today, a bad taste was left in my mouth.
I have worked in retail and I know there is no way I would ring up a customer's prescription and not help them with the rest of their items. All I'm saying is she could've just gone above and beyond (seeing that I'm clearly trying to get his medicine and my other grocery items and get home to care for him as quickly as possible while my hands were full) and checked me out.
