Have visited here twice. First time I was looking for a S&W M&P 15-22.
They did not have any in stock. The owner showed us an ad for Academy Sports where they were on sale for an awesome deal. Went there to purchase, the service was terrible, and the KID who was talking with us know nothing about this rifle. Didn't even know what it was. Said S&W didn't make a 15-22 sport.
Because of what the guy at Gold N Gun did to try to help us, my wife and I went there to find her something she could carry. Once again, the guy was great. Helped her find the perfect gun he had that she felt very comfortable with. He was very patient with her, she does not know alot about guns. He listened to what she said everytime she held one, and figured out what she would like, pulled it out of the case, handed it to her, and that was it! She loved it. In the process, I feel in love with a Ruger 9MM he had.
Bottom line, because of his helpfulness, we left that day with a VERY nice 38 special for the wife, and a Ruger 9 with holster for me, PLUS he threw in 100 rounds of 38 special, all for $525.00. When I searched the internet, I found my gun was valued between $280.00 for fair condition to $380.00 for good. This gun was in fantastic condition. And the holster was about $30.00. The wife's 38, valued for it's condition, $320.00. We got an awesome deal, and was treated honestly better than family. I am now looking to purchase a Hi-Point 40 S&W carbine, want to guess were I am going?? Any gun purchases I want to make in the future, I am stopping there first. And for the record, I respect them choosing not to be open on Sundays. That is what Saturdays are for.
