Jim replaced 2 doors, tracks and installed 2 new openers. We met one evening, discussed what was required and he offered some very good opinions of his own. The installation was done very well, he programmed all the remotes and also offered to come back and adjust anything that was needed. He also has one of the best warranties from what I've researched. One of the glass windows on the new doors cracked during the installation and he replaced that as well, without any prompting. I would highly recommend that you consider Jim if you need any work done on your garage doors.
Jim was called to replace a broken spring on one of my garage doors. He assessed the repair and I decided to go ahead and replace the spring on the other door also since it was the same age as the one that had broken. The springs were replaced and I didn't think any thing of it until one of the garage door openers started having issues lifting one of the doors. I called Jim several times with no response. I did some research on YouTube and learned that the door should be balanced and easy to open by hand. This was no the case. Since I didn't get a response from Jim I called another repair company and it was determined the wrong size springs were installed on my doors. Also, each door had different sized springs even though the doors are the same.dimension. I had right sized springs installed and the doors operate properly. I am disappointed in the service provided by Garage Door Doctors and I am out the $518 they charged to install the wrong springs. I hope this serves as a warning to other considering there service.
Jim has not only done repair work for me but has done an installation when I wanted to completely change my doors to sell my house. He is the best in Atlanta. In fact, I moved out here to Austin and had a garage door issue and called him and he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. You can't go wrong with Garage Door Doctors if you live in Atlanta.
