Famous Hair

My sister went there for a "root color" ONLY in her hair, again NOT the whole hair but her roots and guess what, her total bill was 86$ and she gave a tip of 8$ a total of 94$!!! For this price she could have gone to a much better salon like fringe hair salon, studio 285 or Salon Surreal but again because we are on a budget we choose this salon and thought they still give a good job until my sister's awful experience! The breakdown of her bill was 50.50$ -- color, 35.50$ for shampoo & style, which for the record the shampoo and blowdry should have been included for free, her hair was not styled, it was blowdried. what in the world! she was ok with it until me and my friends told her that it is NOT right, I mean common, this salon supposed to be affordable and its the reason for us students to go there whenever we need our hair done. This is her second time already and she paid almost the same amount of money during her first time when she got her roots done with highlights! all of us told her to call and get her money back because I think she was taken by some cleaners. when she get back in there, she was only given 14$ back because they have to take 10$ extra for color because she was told that her hair was long, like what?? again, its NOT about the hair is long because it is ONLY her roots that was colored! then another 10$ for blowdry again because her hair was long. If i was the one who got there with her, i would have told that woman to give her the whole amount back just because for me they are not being honest with the pricing!!! I am mad that she got to experienced this kind of treatment being a returned customer. I told her and all the people i know NOT to go back in this salon anymore ever! Also I emailed the corporate office and complain in behalf of my sister.
