There were 6 of us sitting outside enjoying drinks and when another friend decided to join us we were told by the server that her manager said she can no longer bring drinks outside. The conversation then turned from the difficulty of drinks being brought out to that we had too many people sitting at a four top table and we weren't allowed to do that. So as a whole group we opted to no longer drink, cash out our tabs and sit outside, but apparently that also wasn't an option
Have you ever gotten kicked "inside" a restaurant?! Well we did. We were told we had to move inside regardless if we continued to drink or close our tabs. So we moved inside only to have another couple who was eyeballing our table earlier, swoop in and take it. Coincidence? I think not.
All of us work in the restaurant industry and we know whole heartedly this WAS NOT the fault of our server as she was very sweet, but whatever "management" runs The Cantina.
