Alpine Valley Inn

Omg! This place is horrible, all of it. Should have known by the outside appearance as a a start. The office reeked of cigarette smoke and the Cuban northerner was extremely unfriendly. She did not verify how many nights or if we wanted to have the charges to the card that was just to hold the room, so we got charged 2 nights on our debit card. Should have got the refund and left that nightmare. Got refund and charged on card of our choice. Went to room, nasty green trashed filled pool along the way upstairs. Room was frigid, no heat turned on. Light switch at door turned on microwave not the light. Tv remote did not work, fridge not plugged in had to unplug microwave to turn on fridge. Bathroom door damaged on both sides, coffee packets and no coffee pot. Had to find another hotel with vacancy on New Years Eve, gathered our belongings and got out of there fast. So disgusted, left key in room. Nobody in the office when we left anyways. People living in that trash of a motel to say the very least. Don’t know how they could ask $99 for a room, not even for free should anyone stay or live there.
